Pros

Nothing worth mentioning, as the Cons totally outweigh anything positive about this university.

Cons

1) no true learning going on in this place - only money-making, which is not apropos to true education 2) administration blatantly lies to their associate faculty 3) youth-based administration does not know the value of education - only interested in making money 4) no instructor authority in the classroom, as this has been removed in deference to student-based authority, which is an unspoken mandate of the administration

Advice to Management

Stop concentrating on making money and start focusing on the true meaning of education! In short, listen to your faculty members - the ones in the classrooms! Get out of the ivory tower of finance and down to the nitty-gritty of teaching!

    Pros

Can make great friendships and great for networking. Most employees there are there to get out of a rut so it can be beneficial to get to know others. I made some lifetime friendships working here. decent pay

    Cons

Working here! Highly suggested saturdays (usually means you have to have a good excuse to not make it in on your day off) most managers do not have degrees 250 + calls per day micromanagement lack of good structure (things change every 3-6 months)

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to your AC's you are as dismissible as them! I would also suggest to HR that all managers and directors go through a training program prior to hitting the floors. Most do not know how to manage or direct, they simply enrolled 3-5 students per week average. They do not know how to manage employees or talk to them half of the time. Give them (management) a 2-3 week training prior to meeting their new team or division (current one is done while they are on the job (FAIL)) HR: take advantage of the talent you hired, there are a lot of people working for you with great management skills that will never get promoted because they are not producing constantly (being able to enroll does not equal good management).

    Pros

Good pay and benefits. Opportunity to learn and improve communication skills. Young fun demographic of coworkers.

    Cons

High stress, pressure to meet monthly minimum number of student enrollments

    Advice to Management

Make degrees more affordable. A $50,000 online bachelor's degree can be difficult to justify.
