Pros

Commitment to manage default cohort rate beyond the national average of for profit education sectors. Company is always seeking to improve its processes to seek out quality students. They are trying to find ways.

Cons

Some micromanagement in different departments. Difficulty to grow within the financial aid department.

Advice to Management

Please find a better way of promoting within for lead and management. The pay increase rules dont make sense.

    Pros

Free education for those who are able to stay long enough to finish.

    Cons

Everything else. The culture changed weekly and not for the better. Sketchy managers and a leadership team who could not figure out who they wanted to be or how they wanted to run the company.

    Advice to Management

Ashford University hired a lot of talented people and wasted all the talent they had. They offered some continual trainings but most of the managers wouldn't let team members participate. Get real and figure it out. Be honest with your employees, set real expectations then commit to helping your employees reach them.
