“Run by Fear”
Former Employee – worked at AspenTech
Pros – THere are excellent products and excellent people
Cons – RUn top down exclusivly by a culture of fear. No information is absorbed upwards. Do as I said it is the rule of the day.
Advice to Senior Management – Listen to your employees and after 10 years introduce some new prodcuts. Also - keep your word on rewarding achievements and stop taking credit for sales when teh salesman can have a negative effect on his income for closing deals.
