I have been working at Asset Acceptance Capital full-time for more than a year

Pros

Uncapped bonuses, respectful work environment, lighted garage parking, convient location near 696 fwy. Wellness health screening day.

Cons

Very high turnover rate, hourly wage is low with collection goals that are difficult to reach and maintain. Bonuses are only paid if your able to make your monthly goals. Idea job for those who are just in a desperate need for one. Definitely not the place to make a stable career unless your promoted beyond collections. Rotating schedule makes it difficult to balance family and work life or even further your education.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reseach the policies that you have in place for performance, goals, compensation, training, work schedules and make the necessary adjustments that will benefit both the employees and company as a whole.

    Pros

Good place to learn and develop your analytical skils. Real nice team atmosphere within the Analytics teams.

    Cons

The pay is less than what others are offering for the same job duties. Also, there is no room for growth; you're pretty much stuck doing the position that you were hired for. No cross exchange of job duties between analysts.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to promote from within first; also allow analysts to see what other analysts are doing.

I worked at Asset Acceptance Capital full-time

    Pros

Decent benefits. Trying to be innovative in a competitive industry. Excellent vacation benefits.

    Cons

Vision isn't clear, trying to do a lot of things when doing one thing well worked for a long time. Employees seem like cogs. Collections is hard, collectors need to be appreciated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Saying thank you goes a long way. Spending a little money to boost morale might help. Improve communications. Having flex time or job sharing would be a good way to increase morale.
