    Pros

Great company with storied history that plays an important role in a free press and improving public discourse. Ability to move around to bureaus around the world, develop expertise in many different areas of journalism.

    Cons

Challenging economic trends in journalism have substantially eroded the size of the staff, and increased workloads, hurting the ability to produce quality, issues-oriented journalism. Bit by bit, the news report seeks to appeal to lowest common denominator.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management can often be tone-deaf to the realities AP journalists face in terms of inadequate staffing, resources and growing workload.

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO
