Money or ethics/quality of life? Pick one, because you can't have both.

I worked at Asurion full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

A gorgeous business model is the main reason for Asurion's profitability. Management level compensation is good. Upper management compensation is INSANELY good. Lots of truly talented people at Asurion.....and unfortunately, quite a few well-connected clunkers as well. If you attach yourself to the right leader (one who has yet to irritate too many of their peers and/or leaders), have a blurry perception of what is ethical, and you're willing to work like a maniac (while remaining vigilant in watching out for the inevitable knife between your shoulder blades), Asurion is the place for you.

    Cons

See above. Says it all. This is the state of things when I left. The Asurion of 10+ years ago wasn't quite as cutthroat. Took a while to get that way. Sad......but it's what happens to almost every little fish that grows into a whale. Such is corporate America. Sink or swim.

    Advice to Management

You folks are perfectly aware of the work environment you have created. You engineered it to be exactly how it is. Nothing I can say will change it.........and why should it? You make piles of money, and the size of the pile grows exponentially every year. If it ain't broke, why fix it? I will decline to give a thumbs up/down on the CEO. Never met the guy. The big dogs rarely come out of the ivory tower to mix with the minions.
