Pros

People are all very friendly, casual dress, get to do training and team events with other employees in your department. Can get off on Fridays early some weeks.

Cons

Some of the tasks got repetitive, and sometimes can get swamped with people requesting analysis projects for you to complete , sometimes boring work

    Pros

employees get free satellite dish service and free nfl sunday ticket, get to work a lot of overtime to make a bigger check

    Cons

Mostly irate customers, hard to get a hold of supervisors, inconsistent responses from management, too many steps to follow to fix a simple problem

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cut out so many steps for simple fixes, make sure that management follows through on promises to customers so the csrs are not harassed by irate customers

Former Employee - Customer Service Representative in Vernon Hills, IL

I worked at Asurion full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The company has great trainers and coaches and is fast paced and lots to learn.

    Cons

I left the company during my sixth week as my calls were dropping and caused a disruption in my performance and therefore I was released. It turned out that my phone company (AT&T) had a outage that affected phone service in the area. Mute point.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Treat the employee as the partner and not the suspect. The core values are being one team, drive results and have integrity. My situation did not follow the core value principles.
