Current Employee – been working at Atlantis Internet Radio Network
Pros – Quest Broadcasting and Atlantis Internet Radio has uniquely positioned itself against mainstream corporate radio. Unlike corporate owned terrestrial broadcast outlets, which cater and kowtow to music industry moguls, Quest embraces local bands, musicians and singers/artists and encourages unsigned bands and promotes them through On Air interviews and radio play of their content. Outside of College/University radio stations, there are no places in which new talent can get their sound out to the public. In today's world of music, even these radio stations operated by colleges and universities are beginning to shy away from and shun the new and unknown artist in favor of current popular content, in an effort to compete with commercial broadcast stations.
Cons – Being a small, start-up company - Quest is not the place to look if you want top dollar salaries. However, if you are new to the industry, just starting out in you Broadcasting career - Quest and Atlantis Internet Radio is for you.
Advice to Senior Management – More Interns should be brought into the fold, in an effort to grow the presence of the company with "newbies."
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
