Pros

-The upper level management is stable in capable - most have either been with the company or with in the industry for a long time. As a result the company is pretty well run from a financial standpoint.
-Office is decent, if isolated

Cons

-Culture is a bit weird, this doesn't feel like a company in NY, has more of a middle american vibe. Possibly due to the connection with the military among some of the senior staff.
-salary/other compensation not great
-Lack of transferable knowledge for other jobs - how many other airlines are you really going to work at in your career? Unless you never want to leave it doesn't make sense to invest a lot of time here.
Shockingly little vacation time/holidays - If you're not going to pay people you could at least give them a little more time off! There were days that even morgan stanley (the other company in the building) was closed and we were open.
-Not a lot of room for growth as upper management is pretty entrenched
-Generally boring work environment, colleagues aren't very social.

Advice to Management

If nothing else people meed more time off/work flexibility -i.e. the ability to work from home occasionally. The work load isn't that high that this isn't possible and it won't cost the company anything.
