I worked at Auburn University

Pros

Auburn is great if you love small towns and are very family minded. If you like cities, its not the place for you. The pay is usually a little lower than other institutions but they know that once you get to Auburn, you'll love the small family centric town so you'll stay.

Cons

a little boring, less pay than other universities

I have been working at Auburn University

    Pros

it is a great town to live and study in. Nice library and gym. Quiet and safe environment. close to the beach and atlanta.

    Cons

No much great companies and industries around. well, I don't think there are too many cons about this university, ha.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It is a great university, which definitely has much upside potential. More high quality faculties needed to attract more talented students.

I have been working at Auburn University

    Pros

The kids that you work with within the university are the salt of the Earth. Administration within the particular colleges are caring and precise.

    Cons

Football shuts the city down. If you are not an avid sports fan, you might want to look elsewhere during the fall semesters.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Tenure is slowly becoming a problem within the university, and I believe it should be addressed. Senior professors are resting on their laurels and failing to push the envelope in the classroom. The management needs to be accountable at a certain point.
