Pros – Good Benefits that is about it.
Cons – If you do something wrong you will hear about it. If you work exceptional for 3 years without a complaint you will be given raises but will not be given any kudos, but they will bring up the one thing that you did 2 years ago. Foreclosure prevention is not given any respect although you have to learn all differnt types of positions to do that position well. Other depts look down on us because we are a "call center" --they could not do what we do deal with the difficult customers we deal with every day. I know of people who had 15 years of underwriting experience but can't get out of the call center--because they lable us as just a call rep. Losing A LOT of good people.
Advice to Senior Management – Treat people with respect. Many people have so much experience but will move on because there is no respect for what we do. Even in the bad economy this job is not worth it. Would not surprise me if Aurora laid off 4000 people tomorrow. Management is totally out of touch.
