Pros

Some of the schools are great to sub at and they truly support their staff and subs. Teachers are always good about leaving lesson plans.

Cons

As a sub, you make very little money. Also, almost every school is different in what they expect from their subs and the support they give them. I was at multiple schools where I called the office to take a student out of the classroom for discipline issues, and no one ever came.
