Australia and New Zealand Banking – “Good place to maintain your work-life balance!

May 25, 2009

4.0

Australia and New Zealand Banking Senior Business Analyst in Bangalore (India):   (Current Employee)

Pros

You are working for one of the best banks in the World. The Work life balance is very good and the remuneration is one of the best. If you are enthusiastic in working for a social cause the management encourages you to volunteer for the causes. If you are lucky to get on board to good projects with a niche skill, you get the opportunity to travel all across australasia. People friendly policies which are common to all employees across the world.

Cons

Adapting to newer technologies is very slow but it is changing. Well the technology division is more Vendor managed. If you are looking for a technical career this will not be the appropriate place. But good to learn the business of banking and become a subject matter expert in many areas.

Advice to Senior Management

The decision making on technology adaptation is slow or atleast the process of decision making is very complex. Reduce the complexity and put an appropriate simple governance model
