Former Employee - Internet Sales Manager in Fremont, CA

    Pros

Great pay and opportunities for those without a college degree. Earn as much as you work. Time and hard work gives great results. Honda is a brand name you can trust and is easy to sale. You are provided with all the tools you can to help you succeed.

    Cons

Incredibly long hours. You have to work all weekends and holidays. Commission percentage is pretty low. A very competitive field. There are many sales quotas to meet, reviews to ace and customers to please. You will be calling and talking to a lot of people on top of test driving people all the time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Up the commission percentage. It may be better to institute a culture of togetherness instead of a culture of competition.

Former Employee - Parts Employee in Seattle, WA

    Pros

The best part of this job was the people I worked with at the dealership.

    Cons

Relationships with corporate management were very strained; we were constantly in the position of receiving top-down directives from Florida, that took no account of what our situation was in Seattle. The company is too large.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I would say to improve regional aspect of operations management.
