Good Company For Car Industry

Sales Associate (Current Employee)
Fort Worth, TX

ProsCorporate entity which is rare for car business. Customer 1st process sets them apart from most dealers. Competitive pay structure.

ConsProcesses not implemented evenly at all dealerships. Experience can vary widely between dealerships. Can be a little too corporate at times.

Advice to Senior ManagementStreamline processes between dealerships. Ensure pay structure and bonuses are being implemented evenly at each dealership. Put more focus into employee satisfaction which will translate into higher customer satisfaction.

It's not what you know as much as it is WHO you know.

    General Manager (Former Employee)

I worked at AutoNation full-time for more than 10 years

Pros: Progressive, economies of scale, training resources for almost all positions… Cons: Human Resources horrible (at least in Texas). Market management more interested in coasting then developing. Direct lies to store executive management… Advice to Senior Management: The company install tools/software/reports in each store to assist various levels of store management to make decisions based on facts rather then emotions (short of… No, I would not recommend this company to a friend More
