I have been working at AutoZone full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Coworkers, fun environment, learn to stand on your feet 10 hours a day

Cons

Pay, hours, work-life balance, upper management

Advice to ManagementAdvice

The only people in the stores that have a vested interest in the success of the store are the store managers. Stop treating us like dishonest children!

    I worked at AutoZone full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Room for advancement, decent pay, Job Security, was treated fairly.

    Cons

    Micromamagement culture, Pressure, Value statement doesnt always match company actions.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Make Customer satisfaction a priority in your alocation of Resources. Payrol in the store is too low and customer service and store standards suffer as a result.

    good work life balance, not much work pressure, great opportunity to learn new things, good stock options and bonuses

    Cons

    lousy politics, need to know people in the company to grow; dumb brains are managers/directors,older brains in upper management,

    involve young minds in higher levels of management to bring in fresh ideas for growth & progress
