I worked at Autodesk full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

Great people, interesting products, decent work-life balance

    Cons

Management structure very hierarchical, Autodesk is ho-hum traditional when it comes to managing staff and careers. Too many people called "managers" who are not given the time and priority to do so, skills are sorely lacking. How about trying to innovate with company culture and management practices and not just in your products? Introduce position rotation - *no one* should be in the same role for > 10 years! Politics play too large a role here.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Reinvent not only your product portfolio but also how you function as a company and how you interact with and inspire employees
