Pros

Quite simply if you are not prepared to completely dedicate yourself to this company and be prepared to work 70+ hrs a week no need to apply. If however, you are looking for a unique, challenging and hugely dynamic environment whilst prepared to make scarifices this is the place for you. Management will not communicate to you as indicated by previous threads. They simply feel they should'nt have to, and either your face fits or it does'nt. By in to the vision, work hard (and i mean hard - 100hrs a week quite possible), and obtain the trust of management , and you will be rewarded ve. If you don't like this, please don't sign on as the experience will benefit no one.

Cons

See above. Either its of u or it is not. Absolutely no point wining or complaining. This is a hugely black and white company. No room for 9-5's.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Screen people more rigorously. Possibly someone responsible for recruitment? Getting the wrong people in such a lean and fast paced organisation. Also better QA for UI's.

    Pros

Great benefits, can't find a job elsewhere...

    Cons

No annual reviews/salary adjustments. Raises are "merit based". Take it for what it's worth - most people haven't seen a raise in years. Extremely low employee morale. High attrition. Cambridge management is deaf to the needs of the US offices.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Senior Management in Cambridge:
    1. Do not boast about how well the company is doing financially if you don't plan to share the profits. The vast majority of your employees haven't had a raise or a bonus in ages. They resent your puffery.
    2. Do not blatantly lie to your employees about never having had "economic layoffs". Your employees are not morons. Many of their coworkers have been laid off, fired, or otherwise "discharged". A spade is a spade, no matter what you call it.
    3. Be less evil.
