I have been working at Autonomy

    Pros

Good location. Nice office. Good for entry level jobs. Average pay and benefit. Some people are still nice. Chance to travel.

    Cons

Managment is disqualified in all aspects. Company has no respect on experience and knowledge. Zero communication between upper managament and employees. Work is timed. You need to checkin and checkout daliy. Forced to travel in short notice.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Manager is not just a person who can speak English well and reply emails. People are leaving. Reputation is out.

I have been working at Autonomy

    Pros

Accelerators - made approx $500k last year.

    Cons

Senior Mgmt (read SE) runs a weekly forecast call that has no real depth, asks silly questions, and doesn't come close to uncovering validity of opportunity. Instead, its a rather comical exercise in how senior mgmt can try to humiliate a rep in public forum.

In my 1 yr with the company; had 4 managers in less than 10 months and 4/5 reps fired or forced out in same timeframe. Some reps who were fired were over 100% of plan at the end of the year.

Yes, it is as bad (or worse) as you've read...do yourself a favor and don't work here - period. You will end up having to explain why you had such a brief stint at Autonomy on your resume 12 months after you accept.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Churn and burn strategy will come back to haunt Autonomy...
