I have supportive direct supervisor who is willing to listen and assist. Combing with wonderful team mates who is ever ready to help and enjoy

Cons

there are many a time when communications to employee are not as forth coming as it should or can be. this leads to unnecessary speculation and unease

    A place where you could learn some of the really bad business ethics... all from the Management.

    Pros

    Avago generally practiced flexibility in working hours (but sometimes it also depends on individual supervisor). Employee benefits such as dental / optical and medical are at par as common market expectation. Stock options and employee stocks purchase are also available to eligible employees.

    Cons

    Career advancement and professional growth is limited. Employees turnover rate is relatively high resulting in business process disruption and low morale in existing employees. Operations Planner scores the highest turnover followed by Engineers for R&D and Marketing. Avago takes the short cut by offering high pay to attract new candidates. This leads to huge pay gap between new hires and existing employees who are doing the same job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    People are the asset of an organization. It is not just about the perks or events, but professional growth and career advancement that matters. Pay effort to really develop and retain your existing performing employees else risking brain drain. Be proactive, not reactive. Lead by example and oh, stop fooling your employees with beautiful lies. Employees know they are merely dirty tricks and con jobs!
