I have been working at Avanade full-time (less than an year)

Pros

*good focus on people and training
*total benefit package is above average
*emphasis on learning
*I just started - so l likely have a honeymoon period

Cons

None that I've found yet other than very policy heavy.

    I have been working at Avanade full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

    Smart people
    Connection to Accenture
    Great Microsoft platform understanding

    Cons

    Poor capability to deliver on platform vision locally
    High overhead with little value add coming from them
    Business model is dead and they don't see it, don't see the need to talk about market realities
    Legalistic concept of relationship
    No desire to invest in partnership with customer
    No concept of partnership with partners on common terms/force the 'Avanade' way.
    Pass all risk to customers and don't take responsibility for their own failures

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Close the sub and make it a part of Accenture to lower margin demands
    Break 'partnership' with Microsoft as you are actively competing with them through acquisitions
