Avanex – “Avanex is doing an okay job in a flat market”

Pros

I found the people that I worked with on a daily basis to be very competent and dedicated.

Cons

During my time there the executive management was in a state of flux. There were many departures and new arrivals - which led to a feeling of unease and instability. With the telecom market in decline, and Avanex struggling to stay on top of things, I imagine this instability will remain for some time to come.

Advice to Senior Management

Middle management is doing a great job. Use them more as a conduit for relaying information to the troops.
