I worked at Avaya full-time (More than a year)

Pros

people are dedicated and want to do a good job office environment is okay

Cons

very heavy workload management focused on chasing quarterly performance at the risk of hurting company's long term viability lack of IT investment/integration affects ability to perform tasks efficiently

Advice to Management

convince investors to allow time to develop a viable long term strategy; postpone dreams of an IPO invest in your people - they are your most valuable resource you cannot be "best in class" with employee to sales ratio if you do not invest in IT and other systems/processes to streamline workload.
