Great start to a career but shaky future prospect

ProsAbility to work from home, competitive pay, insurance benefits very good

ConsLayoffs have happened every quarter in 13 years of working with Avaya. It creates a silo environment of employees always looking over their shoulder for the next layoff. The vision is focused on saving today at the sacrifice of tomorrow. The bonuses look great on paper but the last 8 years we haven't received the full bonus. The last 5 years we haven't even come close to the full bonus. Some have received no bonus. There is limited career progression above senior manager especially for women.

Advice to Senior ManagementDecide if you want the company to grow up and then invest in it's people and technology or shut it down. Stop doing death by 1000 layoffs.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

    Average company for the average employee
