Pros

beginner's pay with guaranteed commission...thats it

Cons

this is one of the worst jobs i can imagine. the pay is pretty good when you start because you get a guaranteed commission but after that you will hardly earn anything unless you love screwing ppl over. they teach you to do and say everything your parents told you not to do. unless you bs ppl and just con them into things you wont make any money and you will be eliminated. i thought the turnover at enterprise is extreme but its no comparison. the ppl that steal and lie and scam will stay there forever and be at the top of the list, the ppl that are honest, hardworking etc wont make any money and will be canned. The so called benefits that you receive after 90 days take actually more like 120 because they will hopefully get rid of you before you get anything. Ive been there for almost 110 days and ive seen almost 20 ppl come and go and this is a small airport. I am waiting for my benefits and as soon as i have them and get everything done im quitting this company. they also wont advance you from within unless you want to move somewhere completely else which is a joke on a manager's salary. you are supposed to work the shittiest shifts, holidays, etc. and the ppl that have been there for a long time dodge every client so they can get more commissions because the more you do the less you earn because the company needs money and therefore they rob you

It's a good company overall. The culture is very inclusive.

    Cons

You may find yourself the victim of some manager who is trying to advance at all cost.

    Pros

Good benefits, Managers get a free car with free gas and no insurace cost. Getting a different car every few days is a great benefit.

    Cons

As an Operations Manager you will be expected to work a minimum of 5 days a week that are at least 10 hour days. It is very common that you will work between 11 to 12 hours everyday and somedays if you close you will have to wait for late flights and will work 14 hour days. Once you start adding up how many hours you work every week and divide that by your pay check you will figure out you are working for about $10 an hour.

Dealing with a union is challanging. It is very difficult to manage in this enviroment if you have never had to deal with a union before.

There computer systems are way behing the times. They use a system that came from the early 80's. Very difficult to use.

    Advice to Management

Understand that your employees have lives and they can not work 55 hours every week, Be forth comming with you new hires and inform them of the hourly requirments for the job up front.
