Pros

Cars and lots of it @ the beginning and during break time

Cons

Customer sihtting on you, management sihtting on you to perform better to pay for their mortgage and having to meet a quota or get tossed out

Advice to Management

Pay a decent base instead of making your Sales work for their income!

    Pros

It's a job. Great customers that for some reason continue to rent from this location. Fellow employees may be one of the only good reasons to continue to work here.

    Cons

Long hours no pay. No advancement opportunity assistants from management. Moore than half of the time can't find a manager when you need one. To much conflict all the time.

    Advice to Management

    Need better management skills.

    Pros

If you are the kind of person that can deal with the ups and downs that come with sales, you can be successful at Avis. Great training program, great co workers, and advancement opportunities for those that excel. If you are the kind of person that works hard at a job that only pays by the hour, have a good attitude, and enjoy dealing with people from all walks of life, Avis is a great place to start earning more than many companies will pay.

    Cons

When you finish the sales training process you will be the low man on the seniority pole and usually will end up with a shift that is not ideal like 4am to noon or 5pm to close (which can be 2 or 3 am depending when the last flight comes in. If you are unproductive you could find yourself working at the base location rather than the airport counter where it can be more of a challenge to earn higher commissions.

    Advice to Management

Be more aware of the Rental Sales Agents that work as hard or harder than some but do not show up as high on the numbers list.
