    Pros

You make your own hours. If you want to make more money, you put in more time and market more brochures. You can market as little or as much as you would like to work. Market your business by networking, community events, social media, partnering with local businesses etc.

    Cons

They say you can get started for as little as $10.00. Which is true, if you want your business to start off very slow and grow very slow. Good if you are already a very busy person. But if you want to see money quickly, you need to invest more than $10.00. Think of the cost to do it right; business cards, free samples in brochure bags, costs of inventory to make it more convenient for customers to purchase at events, etc. Want to start off with a bang and make sales quickly? Prepare to invest approximately $200 for business cards, car window decals, address labels to use on back of brochures and ordering lots of extra brochures for events, etc can add up.

    Advice to Management

Provide new representatives with a few samples to get them started, like the inexpensive foundation, fragrance and lip stick samples. Offer to help them run their first event and let them know if you have extra brochures to spare.
