Former Employee – worked at Avon Products full-time for more than 3 years

Pros – Flexable working hours, ability to work from home, discount on products, Global and US Headquarters located in NYC, good company for resume building, recognizable corporate brand

Cons – In the finance organization I found that once you were in a specific area Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, etc. it is very difficult to move into other functions to further your skills. The company has had many allegations over the past two years or bribery and corruption.

Advice to Senior Management – Unless Avon starts to re-evaluate their current sales model to be competitive in an on demand enviornment it is only a matter of time before a beloved American brand will disapear or be bought out

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
