The benefits are great...you get a ton of time off and a great 401k and pension plan

Cons

Total lack of career mobility. You are easily pigeonholed. The management does not seem to want to place you to your proper fit due to a 6 month commitment rule per project. You are kind of treated as a consultant and a needle in the haystack of employees. You are just a number that nobody cares about. Networking is key to career mobility here.

Advice to Senior Management

Find a way to engage younger employees and bring in better opportunities and projects. Departments should have full control of the placement of employees by skill so they can find their best fit and contribute to the company.

Otherwise, there will be a ton of attrition of young people from the company due to a lack of challenging opportunity.
