I have been working at BAYADA Home Health Care full-time (less than an year)

Pros

Wonderful team members to work with. The field clinicians are the best that I have ever worked with. There is a lot of support to the clinical managers.

Cons

The staff are sometimes stretched a bit between visits due to the irregular shape and size of the county. On-call system could be tightened up a bit.

    Unfair as far as health insurance benefits. Charging F/T workers P/T higher rate on their health insurance coverage.

    Compensation/Benefits are horrible but, the client care provided is typically excellent.

    Pros

    Great coworkers with high morale, awesome patients, company prides itself in compassion, excellence and reliability.

    Cons

    LOW PAY for the amount of hours and the quality expected for each employee's work, Benefits are awful, Management is not truthful at times and tell you what you wish to hear. Antique computer systems that fail you and reduce productivity. No raises are given unless you change positions (that goes for office or field employees).

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Quality care is there for the client's but the employees are left to pay their bills on the high from awards weekend morale. Employees need compensation and good benefits. I was making enough to break even, forget saving, with low mileage compensation.
