Pros

great employee cc rate, some great clients, good benefits (minus vacation)

Cons

regimented approach to sales, little room for advancement, low pay, little vacation (sabbatical required)

Advice to Management

Allow the bank to be more flexible in terms of sales. Forcing employees to use specific phrasing makes the calls sound insincere.

The bank would be a great place to work later in your career (better pay and vacation) if there are positions at the corporate office

    Pros

Excellent benefits, still offer a retirement package which most companies discontinued years ago

    Cons

Slow to make decisions, need to move quicker.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees, especially about mid level management

I have been working at BB&T

    Pros

Good benefits package and a relaxed management team. Not required or forced to work overtime. Overall there is good training for the bank.

    Cons

One of the lowest paying banks in the industry. Majority of the lenders do not know their clients and wait for someone else to figure it out for them.

    Advice to Management

give your employees more time off.
