Not a good company to work for at all. Minorities are not given the same opportunity!

I have been working at BB&T full-time (more than 8 years)

    Pros

    Insurance is great but expensive

    Cons

North Florida retail management will lie as often as needed to make them selves look good. We were told repeatedly that no one was in danger of losing their job. Yet, several people did lose their positions and several were forced to move to unsuccessful branches. Was this an attempt to get them to leave the company? If you play the "good ole boy" game with the men you have a good job of being successful. Talk football, golf and hunting and all will be well.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Kelly King: Stop talking about your lake house. People that work for you for losing their jobs! Do you know what is going on in the branches? You talk about making BB&T a place were employees can grow in their jobs, where financial success is important. Who are you talking about because it is not your branch employees.
