I worked at BCS

Pros

It is a small company with lot's of growth potential. Opportunity to gain lots of experience and learn new things. Good benefits. Great way to learn all about government contracting.

Cons

The company only cares about the employees in so far as it benefits them. Employees are "easilty replaceable". Huge growing pains going from small to larger company. All employees must participate in bussiness development in order to be eligible for annual bonus.

    I have been working at BCS

    Pros

    Healthcare benefits provided by the company are OK.

    The company's small IT support staff does its best to support company needs.

    Cons

    Management creates a professionally demeaning environment, in which employees fear losing their positions.

    BCS provides very little support to their clients other than that considered to be 'programmatic'

    BCS fosters employees that undercut and belittle their colleagues

    Access to other BCS offices is very limited.

    I have been working at BCS

    Pros

    Healthcare is covered by the company.

    Cons

    Company culture does not promote professional growth for employees.

    Management does not appreciate staff.

    The company does not manage or allocate resources in an effective manner.

    The company has very few engineers or technologists on staff.

    Client needs' are not communicated to staff in an efficient or effective manner. Employee and company work products suffer as a result.

    Mid-level managers are young and inexperienced.

    Communication at the company is inconsistent and confusing.

    The company asks its employees to work on business development during work hours. This request also extends beyond business hours, unpaid.

    Professional growth opportunities are available, but limited, depending on your standing within the company.
