Pros

Market Share and backlog orders. Also, manufacturing in house- rare to find for US company

Cons

Leadership split on key issues- only take issue on hand- if they can win, otherwise employee has to handle tough issues

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take issues on hand- that you loose, but right for the group and employee

I have been working at BD full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Very nice campus. Free parking. Good food served in the cafe. Nice workout gym. Superb on-site holiday party.

    Cons

Leaders have been there so painfully long, they have little clue to what the outside world and industry really does and could care less. They want to remain in their Ben Franklin state of environment. And, some of the leaders have been there as long as Ben Franklin and likely are related. Their idea of creativity is putting cream into their coffee.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Retire, retire, retire. You are old, ancient, lack any imagination and do not care to hear about new ideas. You shake your had yes like bobble-head dolls and do absolutely nothing. CEO and first two levels are perfect examples. Jurassic Park at its finest.
