Pros

People oriented company with genuine concern about your well being and work/life balance. They truly seem to care about their employees.

Cons

Not the most organized. Sometimes hard to get answers or responses to questions from managers, sometimes having to ask multiple times. Also training was not great. We got lots of product training, but very little on things like how to use the scheduler or other systems on the website.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure that communication is a priority for managers. More systems training for new employees. Notice when the program ended would have been nice, but I understand that it was sudden.

I worked at BDS Marketing full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great philosophy in how to retain good staff. Great online training available, good benefits. Mark Dean is very hands on - really cares about the people that work for him.

    Cons

Opportunity for growth - company tends to hire Director and above from outside rather than grow internally. When business is tough, lay offs are illogical - experienced/tenured people are let go and less experienced are retained.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a hard look at the Directors and Senior Directors - are they really promoting the company culture that you (Mark Dean) believe in and cultivating the staff.
