Pros

People stay a long time, and everyone is very knowledgeable about their position. Great PTO plan, occassional work from home, family friendly depending on position.

Cons

Pay is very low compared to other industries. Quiet office setting, not a lot of action. People stay a long time in their positions which is great but it also means there is no upward mobility.

Advice to Management

Embrace outgoing personalities more, bring pay up to industry standards

    Pros

CEO is very nice and sincerely cares about the people there. Free coffee on paydays and a quarterly lunch for production workers.

    Cons

Production lines are expected to make a quota everyday and if you don't you must work overtime and Saturdays. Pay is very low for what you do. Hard work is not appreciated.

    Advice to Management

Refreshing new Supervisors would be nice.

  2. Overall good place to work, very dynamic...

    Pros

Government contractor benefits. Every office is different depending on the program and contract. Policies and procedures change quite often, but not dramatically. If you are one to work straight from the book this position is probably not for you. There are SOPs, but as a case specialist you deal with many different situations that are not always "in the book". Individual offices are given the freedom to set up their own procedures as long as they are compliant with the contract. Very flexible workplace, depending on the manager.

    Cons

Depending on the contract, the government really holds the authority. They are the customer so that is usually how it goes...so change happens often depending on their needs. In can be very frustrating when upper management honors they're every request in order to keep the contract (which is understandable, I need my job too.)

    Advice to Management

Nothing comes to mind at the time.
