No brains? No abilities? No hopes, dreams or aspirations? Wow, you've found your niche

I worked at BNY Mellon full-time for more than a year

ProsNot too many long days or nights unless you are really smart, then they'll keep you working at all hours. Decent benefits. Fair compensation for the demands placed upon you.

ConsWhat Can I say, the "title of the review" says it all. In all seriousness, this is one goofy franchise. If some of the happenings weren't so comical it would be tragic. Cliques run amok. Hangers on and kiss asses are all over the place asking for handouts from managers with a desperate need for self affirmation. Try getting your point across to some of these blank minds is painful. They just stare back at you in bewilderment. If you don't agree with them its because you aren't smart enough to understand them. 2+2=5 once you step through the front doors, and don't dare tell them otherwise or you'll be branded a turncoat. HR is powerless and clueless. Other firms HR departments take action when something is amiss, not here, they just turn a blind eye and collect their unearned paychecks. Training is non existent in some departments. You'll get preferential treatment if you play their games, but how long can you hold your nose?

Advice to Senior ManagementWhat management? Management are suppose to be problem solvers, communicators and motivators. Those attributes do not exist in that firm

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
