Disapproves of CEO

I worked at BNY Mellon full-time (More than a year)

Pros

If you are lazy, low on motivation love 9:45am to 4:45pm job with 1 hour lunch break and don't like salary hikes and bonuses and promotions on merit and hard work this is the perfect place for you

Cons

If you don't like politics, brown nosing the so called movers and shakers of your department and also learn the art of covering your behind this may not be the right place for you

Advice to Management

Keep up the excellent work of demotivating and driving away able employees and more importantly continue covering your behinds

    Approves of CEO

I worked at BNY Mellon full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    There is a new CEO!

    Cons

The former CEO was very shortsighted. over 1,000 jobs were committed to move to Pittsburgh when BNY merged with Mellon in 2007. Unfortunately, the expertise left with the employees who were laid off. It's hard to work with the Sword of Damocles hanging over your head!

    Advice to Management

Follow the values that you claim: put customers and your staff first, that's how you create loyalty..
