Pros

Will gain corporate experience and also have access to corporate benefit plans

Cons

Management is awful. Little to no room to grow. They hire incompetent people which then costs the company in time and money because people don't know how to do their jobs. There is also no formal training and you learn based off what other people teach you. Overall highly unorganized and unprofessional work atmosphere. Pay is well below the average and slim bonuses.

Advice to Management

Invest in your employees for better outcomes. Raise the salaries!

    Pros

Benefits are good, vacation is generous

    Cons

In Asset Servicing, compensation is very low, salary increases are offensive and jobs are being offshored to India. There are too many layers of management that do essentially nothing but are very well-paid. Senior management is completely out of touch with the needs of the people actually doing the daily work. Opportunities to advance are few and far between, talent is not rewarded - people are expected to be high performers yet are not rewarded in any way for their efforts. Poor performers linger for YEARS when they should be terminated. The communication between various internal groups is very poor. These conditions have led to much resentment and frustration among employees, leading people to seek external employment opportunities.

    Advice to Management

The bar needs to be raised for management, not only for non-managment roles. Asset Servicing employees are very, very unhappy. Get in touch with the needs of the people starting at the analyst level. Why administer the Employee Engagement Survey if problems are not addressed?
