I have been working at BNY Mellon full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Great benefits and work/life balance. If you have motivation to move up, the opportunities are there, however opportunities are opened by tenure, not talent.

    Cons

Huge company that's easy to get "lost" in. Slow to change.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good strides are being make toward career development and performance management. But just because a person is good a his/her job doesn't necessarily mean that person would be a good manager.
