I worked at BNY Mellon full-time (more than an year)

Pros

Technology aware company that is always implementing new and innovative improvements. Really good benefits.

Cons

Not a lot of advancement or room to grow. No raises while I was there. Having to take 2 weeks vacation at a time was disappointing.

I have been working at BNY Mellon full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Relaxed work atmosphere, people around you are good to work with. Work is easy, but redundant. $10K/year in tuition reimbursement for grad school

    Cons

Very political. Poor salaries, and benefits seem poor, but it also seems like rest of financial businesses in Pittsburgh are taking same route. 1% raise for entry level position, which is nothing, while earlier this year they paid out over 400 million in exec level bonuses. No room for growth, once someone gets to middle management, the career growth is shut off.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Improve job growth opportunities, and there shouldn't be hundreds of people with a VP title.
