Pros

Good training, top notch investement resources, excellent safety ratings from credit agencies.

Cons

Challenges with the business model, high turnover, new management: unseasoned micromanager, lack of trust and confidence internally.

Advice to Management

LA office needs a new direction, many are unhappy with how they are being treated which is demostrated by the mass exodus over the last year and a half. Hopefully the once positive reputation with employees can be restored.

    Pros

It's good for those seeking an entry-level position or a foot in the door to a financial services job

    Cons

The culture is very cliquey and the talent pool is small. If you're interested in learning, this firm doesn't offer many opportunities and usually generates systematic rather than independent thinkers. You're in for button pushing at its highest.

    Advice to Management

The biggest way to make progress is to change the culture. Bring in champions who are willing to open up minds and make their jobs more rewarding.
