    Pros

BNY Mellon is a pleasant and stable company. There is no internal competition amongst employees as seen in most other firms. Low turnover

    Cons

The firm is not agressive - pretty risk-adverse. Thats said, it can be too conservative. During the financial crisis this was welcoem. After - not so much,. Management doesnt change often enough - lots of tenure and this causes "old school" mentality

    Advice to Management

Hire stronger entry level and grow their careers; better pay - less migration to Pittsburgh

I have been working at BNY Mellon

    Pros

The extras - medical, dental, tuition reimbursement, company sponsored social events - are good. If you have a strong work ethic AND take initiative, it will get you noticed.

    Cons

Low pay. Antiquated practices by upper management. Major disconnect between the multiple levels of hierarchy and them to the lower level employees.
