I worked at BNY Mellon full-time (more than 5 years)

Pros

Great life work balance. Different parts of the company pulling against each other.

Cons

No real outlook for growth. Looking to keep what they have. Very difficult to move from one part of the company to another.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep looking for ways to grow a profitable division vs. just maintaining what you have.

I have been working at BNY Mellon full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

The Health Insurance is the only good thing about the company.

    Cons

They don't back up what they say when they encourage workers to apply for other jobs, giving them a fair chance to interview for them with the possibility of transferring.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Engage more with the people who work for you.

    I worked at BNY Mellon

    Pros

Great Location, parking and great people to work with.

    Cons

Salary sucks, benefits suck, no bonus... Not even free coffee. Overall the job is very neutral (doing the same thing every day) Hours on a daily team suck (10- to 8pm) Sometimes 9pm.. depends on what kind of supervisor you have.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make sure management at least has a college degree. My supervisor doesnt even speak good english (This is why im here until late hours)
