I have been working at BP

Pros

great benefits, flexable work schedule, growth potential

Cons

top heavy with managers and not enough "doers", poor work/life balance, work in silos, nonintegrated processes

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Low morale and need more management involvement. More managers to understand what is actually going on at the lower levels. Definitely need more of a work/life balance.

I have been working at BP

    Pros

Decent management and colleagues; super interesting work; opportunities to do new things every few years; great benefits and salaries okay; no.1 at finding oil..

    Cons

Poor at project and operations management. Post Macondo Functional model overly complicated. Very flexible and open minded co. but flip side standards are not upheld though managment is working to change this.
