I have been working at BP full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Large company, lots of training opportunities, great benefits and compensation, lots of opportunity in different areas so you can move around and find your niche, lots of responsibility

    Cons

Lots of bureaucracy makes it difficult to get things done and very inefficient, so many initiatives and changes translates into lots of work in different areas

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Allow people to catch-up and focus on day to day operations, in the end it is the best way to ensure safe operations and allow people to be creative and come up with out of the box solutions that leads to cost savings or value generation

I have been working at BP full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Stretches your personal and professional beliefs and limitations. Many opportunities for advancement and global relocation. Superior, and often, opportunity for in-house training and educational classes. Diverse organization

    Cons

Can become just another number. Within BP, what seems as "average" capabilities would equal a rock-star status in other companies. Very siloed with people protecting their turf. Don't practice what they preach.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    safety is suffocating
