I worked at BP as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

Great pay, great benefits. They definitely pay more than other companies pay their interns which was excellent.

    Cons

No opp. for new hires. They Simply do not have opportunities for recent college graduates. They want people with at least 5-7 years experience.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Do not have an Internship program if you do not hire on new hires.

I have been working at BP full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Salary and benefits are very good. Fitness and healthcare facility on campus.

    Cons

Actual job role can be diabolically boring.
Glacial pace of change, innovation doesnt happen.
    Freeloaders abound.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Encourage coaching and development, beyond the perfuctory PDP. Stop using an outdated, 19th century approach towards performance review. Actively seek and finish freeloaders, it demoralizes the working class.
