Former Employee - Intern in Haidian, Beijing (China)
Former Employee - Intern in Haidian, Beijing (China)

I worked at Baidu as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

The working atmosphere was great! As an intern, even though I was very young, my mentor and other employees trusted my ability and treated me the same as they would treat other employees. In addition, I was very thankful to be able to interact with high-ranking employees casually. The working hours were very flexible as well as an intern.

    Cons

Despite the flexible hours, sometimes I had to stay at the office later than usual to finish work that wasn't finished in the morning. In addition, it was difficult as an intern to interact with people outside my own department.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I feel that inter-departmental interactions should be improved. Other than that, I loved the operating atmosphere at Baidu.
