Pros

The general labor employees are mostly good people. Good place to start a career. Do not expect to stay long.

Cons

The company has a disregard for the law and regulations and employee’s health, safety and well being. Do not expect to stay long very few people do.

Advice to Management

Employees are the heart of an organization. Treat them like dirt and that is all you will have left.

    Pros

I've been able to attend many classes

    Cons

No loyalty, people who have given 20 years of service equally as likely to get canned as people working there only months. No raise in 3 years (in fact many people got thier wages cut). No employee match for 401K, used to give profit sharing but not anymore.

    Advice to Management

There will come a time when you wished you had back some of those people with years of experience. It won't be an employers market forever. Experience and loyalty should count for something.

    Pros

Good place to learn horticulture on a large scale People are friendly, laid back Fresh air and sunshine!

    Cons

Horticulture is a low-wage industry, and BNI's wages are reflective of that Virtually no turnover in mid-high level positions; very limited advancement opportunities 3 years without retirement contributions or pay increases Family owned company

    Advice to Management

Recruit educated and enthusiastic employees, offer training, challenge them, recognize and reward their efforts
