Pros

-income potential can be high -networking opportunities

Cons

-job security can feel less than stable at times, mostly a product of the petroleum industry in general -management claims to foster an attitude of talent management and career growth, but most of the time these policies go unsubstantiated. -lack of specific training for most areas. -mid management has a tendency to block internal opportunities across product lines. -

    Pros

Good benefits, and decent exposure to field operations.

    Cons

Lower on the pay scale, limited career opportunities, and inexperienced and/or non savvy management at the coordinator level at least as far as the NorthEastern operations are concerned. Limited communication if ever which breeds limited understanding and relationship between the field personnel and management. If you think you can use this as a stepping stone to move up within Baker as an educated person with a University degree.........well, i'm sorry you cant.

    Advice to Management

Change the Coordinators to people who know how to do the job correctly and limit the attrition rates.
